So winter is upon us as it does every year.
Now why am I jabbering on about gardening you ask? Why would anyone be thinking of gardening in these consistent cold and frosty mornings.
So then let’s not talk of the Winter jobs list, or just how darn pretty Red Robins are, or mulching & leaf clearing as you can refer to any famous gardening blog for all that. “Nope. No. No”

Instead, Let’s sit inside with a nice cup of herbal tea & get excited about planning your green space. Be it outside or inside as there are plenty of options for House plants too.
Whatever it is just get excited about it! Instead of doom scrolling when bored. Plan and mind map your summer into Autumn Plant’s.
Who are you? How do you want to feel and how do you want your garden to reflect that.
Are you a cook – do you require Herbs? Do you like the idea of bringing a life changing holiday home to you. Like recapturing that Jungle Trek with the use of Tropical HUGE foliage texture gardens.
Do House plants cheer you up? Whatever it is get inspired! Research it’s plans and implement from Spring!

I like to read books and then my mind runs wild as I design whole gardens based on the storyline, with its interesting characters, almost adding another layer of what a garden can symbolize.
We’ve all grown up watching the famous ‘The Secret Garden’ film, you see its not just about what you put into that garden its more so about creating a space where memories can be made and stored. Take any community Garden project for instance or Social Therapeutic Horticulture’.
“It don’t matter how, you are the way you are”, We all need green. Calm. Scented and pretty in our lives and that is exactly what the gardening world creates.
So, without further ado let me show you What I like now & What I plant now with why I like it. In the hope that someday…. you will to.

Callicarpa bodinieri – Named after Emile-Marie Bodinier, French missionary who collected plants in China

Bodinieri beautyberry

“My first favourite plant back in my ‘garden angel’ day’s. If you like Purple and you like Berries…. well then, it’s a match made in heaven for you too. You see when the foliage drops from Autumn your left with this spectacular crop of ornamental inedible fruits which are striking to they eye and create a real ‘focal point’ for a winter garden."

WHAT CAN YOU PLANT NOW
You Still have a couple of weeks window chance to get you’re Tulip bulbs planted and remember – 5 x the depth of the bulb! If you want upright tulips that is!
This year in my own garden I have planted ‘Yellow mixed Blend’ in one tub With Ballerina & Lasting Love in the other.

Purchased from JParkers.com
